Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 381 of 9th Nov. with its accompanying copies of correspondence with Mr. J. J. Cotton on the subject of his wife's application.
To do so would appear to be groundless as Mr. Cotton's statements do not seem to be sufficient for interference.
24th Dec. 1912
(38467)
(40139) (dft, herewith)
If Mr. Cotton's statements are correct, they do not appear to afford sufficient ground for interference.
